Building a raised garden bed makes your garden lush and beautiful. If the garden is created properly it looks great. First you should build a solid base that is level. It needs lots of work if you don’t know how to do it. There are several things you need to do to create your raised garden bed. To start building a bed you should get bricks. The selection of the bricks depends on the shape of the garden bed you want to build. The garden bed can be square, rectangle or with curves in the wall. Next step is to find a place where you want to build your raised garden bed. Then you should lay the bricks on the ground to outline and find out how many bricks you need to build the raised garden bed. After determining the design of the bed you should put numbers with marker
on each brick you will use in your project.
Then let’s start removing weeds from the ground below the bricks. You can use the edger to cut the grass by putting it deep in the soil. This must be done around the edge of your bricks on all sides. When it is done with all the bricks, place them somewhere to the side. Then continue removing the remaining weeds. Then excavate a soil few inches deep and be sure there is no grass roots remained. Then everything is ready for building a foundation for the bricks. The position of the bricks must be two inches in the ground and two inches above the surface screened from the lowest place of the garden. This placement is very important as gardens frequently have a slope but you should try your garden bed not to have a slope at all. You should try to build a level raised garden bed that will be steady and beautiful.
